ClubHub — A Sports Club Management Platform
The club logged everything by hand: paper subscriptions, roll-call attendance, and reports assembled at month end. I built a platform that manages subscriptions, records attendance by QR code, assigns staff tasks and generates reports — with a separate dashboard per club.
The problem
Three hundred active members, fifteen staff, and everything on paper: subscriptions written in a book, attendance called out by name, reports assembled by hand at month end. Mistakes passed unnoticed, and renewals were forgotten until they lapsed.
The approach
I did not start from requirements, I started from the operation — I was running the club myself, so I knew where the hours actually went: taking attendance, assembling numbers at month end, and chasing renewals. I built for those three first and left the rest.
What I built
A React and Supabase platform with a separate dashboard per club. QR attendance instead of roll-call, subscriptions and renewals in one place, staff tasks assigned and tracked, and reports exported as PDF rather than assembled. On top of it: an instant trainer alert on every new sign-up, and a daily WhatsApp report to the owner covering members, revenue and payment methods.
The result
Around three working hours saved daily, and renewal revenue up between 10 and 15% through automated reminders. The system served a club whose membership passed six thousand across three years.

I built the system while running the club — so I knew where the hours actually went. Someone arriving from outside the operation cannot see that in a requirements meeting.
